I spoke to the team behind the new Panasonic 4K Varicam including Steve Mahrer Senior Technologist from Panasonic North America. He gives us details on the two flavors of Varicam and how their new recorder can attach to either camera body as well as extending the recorder up to 70 feets for jibs or other shots that need the camera in it’s smaller configuration.
